- Demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge and evidence based practice to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role
- Demonstrate an understanding of the interplay between physical, sensory and learning difficulties in intellectual disability, autistic spectrum disorder and physical & sensory disabilities across the lifespan
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of physiotherapy in supporting children with in intellectual disability, autistic spectrum disorder and physical & sensory disabilities
- Demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to the impact of disability throughout the course of the person and their families engagement with the service
